Delta Careers is offering educational, online and global Work-Experience Programsf and courses to accelerate future careers for ambitious high school students with companies like Uber, PwC etc. As part of our mission to develop holistic individuals, CGA offers a wide variety of Work-Experience Programs to develop the next generation of high-performing talent. These provide real-world experience to high school students and allow them an opportunity to interact with industry mentors.
Besides offering world-class extracurricular activities, we partner with global companies to offer high school students an opportunity to learn through projects. The Work-Experience Programs and live careers training courses offer students an opportunity to explore a career before they go to university where they have to commit to a field of study. Every participating student also receives a reference letter written signed by a company representative.

LAW Work-Experience Program
1 month Law Work-Experience Program powered by Delta Careers. A practical work experience program designed for high school students interested in a career in law.
You will be part of a smart and ambitious cohort of top high school students all around the world. This program is recommended to students who are interested in law both academically and professionally. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with fundamental legal skills and would have developed a sound legal mind.
What you will do
You will be trained in fundamental skills such as case analysis, drafting legal documents and legal research. You will then help resolve major commercial disputes.
Core Competencies:
Case Analysis & Drafting
You will learn how to effectively identify the facts and issues of a case and write commentary on them. You will also learn how to draw conclusions from your analysis and interpret how courts apply certain norms. Through this process you will also learn how to write legal documents with key features centered around conciseness, accuracy and truth.
Legal Research
Legal Research is a very important skill to master which helps you find answers for various legal questions, cross check precedents and focus on the facts of the case. You will be exposed to a range of important primary and secondary sources of law and learn how to analyse them using efficient search methods on a wide variety of legal research aids, especially online legal databases. This skill will be applied to resolve the primary case of the program.
Commercial dispute resolution
Successful law firms dedicate themselves to being the business partner of their clients on top of being a legal advisor. Through the relevant skills you have learnt, you will assist in managing risks and come up with practical solutions on various legal problems in relation to commercial dispute resolution.
Program Outline:
Week 1
Orientation Week
Get introduced to the program, your mentors, your team and the startup. You will learn what it's like to at a top law firm like Dentons and begin preliminary research on the program project with you team.
Week 2
Competence Week
You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures, you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.
Week 3
Development Week
You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge to the project and working as a team effectively is the focus of this week.
Week 4
Pitch Week
For the final night you will pitch your project and findings to the startup executives. Upon successful completion, you will receive a referral letter signed by the company and an Work-Experience Program certificate.
Program Details:
• 4-5 students per team
• 15-20 hrs commitment per week

• Gaining practical experience in the legal field.

AdditionalWork-Experience Program times will be added pending on areas of enrolment.
I would do this (internship) whether I was sure of law or not..I genuinely had so much fun, and the case study was just so interesting! Analyzing a hypothetical, real-like case was so interesting. I would recommend it.
Students who are 14 to 19 years old.
