Engineering Work-Experience Program
1 month Engineering Work-Experience Program powered by Delta Careers. A practical work experience program designed for high school students interested in a career in engineering.
You will be part of a smart and ambitious cohort of top high school students all around the world. This program is recommended to students who are interested in engineering both academically and professionally. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with fundamental engineering skills and would have developed a sound engineering mind.
What you will do:
You will be trained in fundamental skills such as product management, product design and mechanical engineering. You will then help resolve solve a major engineering problem.
Learn how to merge business acumen, technical skills and customer desires to this new product to success at Ferrari. This will entail a hands-on customer discovery process, followed by strategic analysis and implementation through delivering your findings.
After addressing the business case for the product, you will delve deeper into the product design. This includes learning how to partake in the User Experience (UX) discovery process and designing the User Interface (UI). Particularly, you will learn how to redesign a specific aspect of Ferrari's family of products, taking into account feasibility and stakeholder wishes.
Upon addressing the market need and design, work on developing the key features of the redesigned car part, taking into account feasibility constraints. In particular, you will work to apply theoretical mechanical engineering skills in a real-life situation, in an effort to address client demands both efficiently and effectively.
