Accelerating future careers for ambitious students Delta Careers is offering educational, online and global Work-Experience Programs and courses to accelerate future careers for ambitious high school students with companies like Uber, PwC etc. As part of our mission to develop holistic individuals, CGA offers a wide variety of Work-Experience Programs to develop the next generation of high-performing talent. These provide real-world experience to high school students and allow them an opportunity to interact with industry mentors.

Besides offering world-class extracurricular activities, we partner with global companies to offer high school students an opportunity to learn through projects. The Work-Experience Programs and live careers training courses offer students an opportunity to explore a career before they go to university where they have to commit to a field of study. Every participating student also receives a reference letter written signed by a company representative. You will be part of a smart and ambitious cohort of top high school students all around the world. This program is recommended to students who are interested in finance and law, both academically and professionally. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with fundamental skills and would have developed a sound asset mangement mind.

What you will do

You will be trained in fundamental skills such as equity research, financial analysis and delivering a portfolio. You will then help resolve solve a major startup problem.

Core Competencies:

Equity Research

You will need to continuously stay up to date on a wide variety of macroeconomic trends, market forecasts and financial news - this allows you to identify attractive investment opportunities. Once an opportunity is identified, you form an investment thesis and conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative research to evaluate the potential of the investment.

Financial Analysis

You will use various financial analysis methods to uncover the company's actual value. You will then visualise these findings and data to inform better investment decisions. The financial analysis techniques will cover both fundamental and technical analysis.

Deliver & Monitor A Portfolio

Based on the equity research and financial analysis on the investment opportunity, you will pitch a recommendation on the company. After appropriate evaluation, this will be included in your team portfolio. You will then monitor the performance of your team's portfolio and share any findings and indicators to potentially update the course of action of the firm.

Format

Program Outline:

Week 1

Orientation Week

Get introduced to the program, your mentors and Perennial Partners. You will learn how a tech company operates and begin preliminary research on the program project.

Week 2

Competence Week

You will obtain all the required skills to complete the project. Through a series of skills lectures you will get a fully immersive learning experience and all the adequate skills.

Week 3

Development Week

You are now equipped with the adequate skillset to complete the program. Applying your knowledge onto the project and working as a team is the focus.

Week 4

Pitch Week

In your final week you will submit your project for mentor feedback. In the final night you will pitch your project and findings to representatives and upon completion, receive a referral letter.

Program Details:

• 4-5 students per team

• 15-20 hrs commitment per week
