Drexel's Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship welcomes high school students interested in learning how to develop entrepreneurial solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems, becoming "Rising Starters" along the way.

During this summer camp, you will be immersed in a hands-on experience where you will hear from leaders in the field of social entrepreneurship (in which entrepreneurs develop solutions that directly address social issues), will look into the causes of some big challenges, and develop potential solutions to those problems. You will also learn how to develop and use an "entrepreneurial mindset", leaving you with practical tools to solve problems of the future. This camp culminates with a "pitch" presentation for family and friends where you will present the results of your work and how you plan to take forward your idea.
Topics include:
- Collaborate to identify clients and solve problems
- Learn how to apply the entrepreneurial mindset to develop solutions
- Build an effective pitchbook
